One of the most popular naturist resorts in Florida is Cyprus Grove, situated just south of Orlando. It certainly deserves its first class reputation, in fact many people have moved in as permanent residents as they just love the way of life here – a fantastic recommendation. The nearly 300-acre site includes a 50-acre lake, 130 acres of protected wetlands, 20 acres of recreational facilities.
Accommodation for rental includes 84 villa hotel rooms and apartments as well as camping facilities.
All the rooms have free cable TV, hair dryers, alarm clocks, coffee makers, free wireless Internet and has linen provided. The Villa hotels rooms are comfortably furnished with queen sized beds, private bathrooms, mini fridge, table and chairs, (two sizes of rooms are available) Villa apartments have two rooms, bathroom, and spacious living area, complete kitchen, the bedroom has two queen sized beds.

Amenities
The Lakeside Restaurant and Lounge offers excellent breakfasts, a dinner menu with daily specials and salad bar, and weekly buffets. An excellent wine list is available to compliment your meals.
Cheeks Bar and Grill is located by the pool, providing food and drink from 11am each day. This area has colour televisions, dartboards and billiard tables.
Want to work of some the excesses of eating and drinking? Cyprus Cove has a large air conditioned Gym with excellent nautilus and free weight equipments, as well as offering aerobics.
At the centre of Cyprus Cove there are two large swimming pools, both heated by solar power to a temperature of 27 degrees C. Terraces with chairs, tables and umbrellas surround the pools. The nearby Jacuzzi is large enough to accommodate about 10 people at a time.
If you feel like a little pampering whilst away, indulge yourself at the spa – maybe a new hair do, manicure, massage or body treatment.
The Fig Leaf Boutique stocks hundreds of sarongs, sandals, jewellery and other items. A small shop sells papers and food, a vending machine for chilled soft drinks and a launderette.
Bored with lying in the sun? Why not go boating using the club canoes and paddleboats, or try a spot of fishing (you must provide your own fishing gear and bate) The game room has Pool, table tennis and Arcade games. For golf lovers there is a 9-hole chip-and-put course; fancy a game of tennis, volleyball, or a game or Petanque – all are available with equipment to hire.
Children are catered for with an equipped playground.
For a family resort without hype or glitz, this is a perfect resort to enable you to unwind, relax and work on that sun tan.
Florida also has its own on-line journal (The Sun Dial) who are campaigning for more naturist beaches in Florida
